Survivor Truths: Residential Schools, Art, and Reconciliation – New school program

The Canadian Museum of History has created a new school program in collaboration with the Alberni Residential School Survivors Art and Education Society and Indigenous artist, master carver, filmmaker, and intergenerational Survivor Carey Newman (Hayalthkin’geme).

In collaboration with Dr. Andrea Walsh (University of Victoria, Anthropology), the Canadian Museum of History has created a new online resource to support learning about residential schools through arts engagement.
